CODA (2021)
CODA (Child of Deaf Adults) is a film about a young woman, Ruby, growing up as the only hearing person in her family, and helps them with their family fishing business. As the family business experiences some hardships, Ruby must choose between pursuing college and her dream and passion to sing or staying to help her family.
Marlee Matlin, Troy Kotsur and Daniel Durant star in the film, and are all deaf actors and play the roles of Ruby's (Emilia Jones) parents and brother.
