THIS IS MY STORY SO FAR THROUGH ACADEMIA

Here are the highlights of the things that I have accomplished while attending the University of Washington Bothell where I majored in Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies & American Ethnic Studies with a minor in Diversity Studies. I have also began to include work as I have continued my studies at Claremont Graduate University where I am pursuing a double degree Masters program in Applied Gender Studies and  Cultural Studies.

September 2021 - June 2022

PARLIAMENTARIAN

  • Associated Students of the University of Washington Bothell, hired member of student government responsible chairing hiring and election committees

  • Website editing trained; tasked to work on updating ASWUB website to be E-Reader friendly

  • Student Representative on Student Conduct Committee; focus on academic misconduct process

  • Student Representative in Diversity Task Force; reviewing course requirements for Diversity requirement, researching alternative options to ensure DEI is properly addressed

September 2019 - June 2020

NOTE TAKER BELLEVUE COLLEGE

  • Took notes for multiple Bellevue College councils including the Exempt, Classified, Faculty, and Resource &Planning Councils while observing ‘Roberts Rules’

  • Managed notes on each councils SharePoint sites and documented any council votes, results, action items, and attendance

June 2014 - December 2017

PROJECT COORDINATOR TEKSYSTEMS MICROSOFT

  • Created Speech Analytics Pilot projects; exceeded ROI expectations by over 2 million

  • Identified cost saving options to ensure continued multi-million-dollar yearly ROI

  • Adopted Agile methodologies developed unified project planning processes; acted as SCRUM Master and created internal and external presentations for project updates
